Treat a friend, a family member or loved one to a trip with a difference. We are now offering a trial flight that will allow you to fly with one of our instructors to one of a selection of picturesque or historic airfields. And the best part? YOU get to fly the aircraft both ways.

Of course you will have an experienced pilot along for the ride so you can relax in the knowledge that  you are in safe hands. Stop for lunch, explore the airfield and its surroundings and return following a beautiful scenic route taking in the sights along the way.

 

Whatever the occasion a  trial lesson with land away is a gift with a difference; whether you are the pilot or the passenger it will be an experience that will stay with you forever.

We would expect the whole experience to last in the region of 3 hours,  with approximately 2 hours spent getting hands on experience of what it is like to take control of the aircraft.

​

Follow the coast from Blackpool to Caernarvon, past the Great Orme and fly down the beautiful Menai Strait for lunch in the restaurant on the airfield.

​

Alternatively fly to the North over the western half of the Lake District and land at Kirkbride airfield where you will visit the restaurant of a nearby Hotel for some excellent food.

All of our Trial flying lessons are flown from our base at Blackpool Airport, Blackpool has to offer 11 miles of golden coastline which has many amazing views along the way! such as the Blackpool Tower!
